The wonderful experience of getting a head cast... If you've never had one done before, it's worth a try! The alginate (purple goop that makes an impression of the face) gets applied all over the desired area. Having at least two people is the most ideal way to get it going. One person can focus on the front of the model and the other the back ensuring that the model gets covered completely. My assistant Thomas did a great job and the end result was exactly what we wanted!
Head casts are always good to have, especially if your interested in creating masks that will fit you perfectly. Here are some shots from this past month. The head cast was created for a client named Paul. He will be making his own Batman mask and costume for Montreal's up and coming
